24 February – Eastleigh digital skills module 11. Completed module 1 of digital marketing? Now move onto module 11. New skills, new challenges. Module 11 can be done as a stand alone workshop or part of the course.

24 February – Fleet. Branding. How to, why you need to, getting what you want from it, all will be revealed.

1 March – Eastleigh. Handling aggressive people. Calm situations down before they become an issue. Defuse an annoyed client or customer. Learn to remain calm and on top of the situation. Great for businesses and everyday life!

Digital Skills is a brand new, tailor-made suite of training programmes specifically designed to help small businesses develop their knowledge of the internet, social media and benefits of getting their business online

From developing a website to using email marketing and social media, the Digital Skills programme will equip small businesses with the confidence, skills and tools they need to benefit from the rapid growth of e-tailing and ultimately increase their bottom line.

Three training modules are all you need:

Module 1
– 10 February 2016

Understand your Customer and Digital Marketing – covers the important basics of marketing right through to online channels. This module will:

  • Help you understand the importance of knowing your customer and their lifetime value
  • Give you the tools to develop a clear digital strategy which will build customer loyalty
  • Help you understand different digital marketing channels and how to use them successfully

By the end of the session you will be able to articulate what your marketing and digital strategies are, develop a marketing plan and understand how to benefit from a marketing planner.

You will be able to purchase a comprehensive delegate workbook and have access to a series of downloads (detailed information and templates to use in developing your online strategies). The cost for the work book will be £40 plus vat. This work book covers all 3 modules.

The UK’s consumer protection and competition authority, the CMA, is going to look at the way businesses use online reviews and endorsements after concerns were raised about their “trustworthiness” and “impartiality”.

It will include those on web blogs, video blogs, social media, specialist review sites, trusted trader sites, retail platforms, and retailers’ own websites.

The roles that media companies, online reputation managers and search engine optimisers play in helping businesses to promote their products/services and manage their reputations in relation to these sites, will be included.
